WordPress website design and development
Radio Gold is the leading news website for the province of Alessandria: news, an online TV channel and a radio station brought together in a single portal. We built it to organise a large amount of content in a simple, intuitive way for the reader.
The web portal is organised into three main home pages — news, TV and radio — with a menu by section (local news, politics, culture, sport, city, events) and direct access to the live radio. Article pages include social sharing, the byline and date, a column of the latest articles and advertising slots. The admin area, built in WordPress, allows the editorial team to change the layout settings of the three home pages to give more room to featured news.
At the time of the project Radio Gold reached around 500,000 unique users and a million page views a month; in 2023 we gave the portal a complete redesign.
