Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use kva.io: with a keyboard only, with assistive technologies, zoomed in or with reduced motion. Here you will find the standard we follow, the site's status, the checks we have carried out and how to report a problem.

Last checked: 18 October 2026.

Standard

Our reference is the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, for all public pages of www.kva.io in Italian and English.

Conformance status

The site conforms to WCAG 2.2 level AA. The checks of 18 October 2026, listed below, left no open issues.

How we checked

  • Automated testing with axe-core on every page, on desktop (1440 px) and on mobile (390 px), and W3C HTML validation.
  • Keyboard-only navigation on every type of page: focus order, visible focus, mobile menu, quote and contact forms, portfolio filters.
  • The browser's accessibility tree: names, roles and states of controls, error and status messages.
  • Screen reader testing with VoiceOver: the site works without problems.
  • Reflow at 320 px with increased text spacing on every page, and 200% zoom.
  • Contrast of text, form field borders, and hover and focus states.
  • Reduced motion, pausing animations and high contrast mode.
  • Cookie banner and preferences panel (an iubenda service): keyboard, contrast and automated testing.
  • Automated and keyboard tests run in Chrome on desktop and with mobile emulation.

Not covered by this statement

  • Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy: they are iubenda pages and open on iubenda.com.
  • Linked external sites (portfolio projects, App Store and Google Play), which belong to third parties.

Useful features

  • “Skip to content” is the first link on every page.
  • The “Pause animations” button, at the bottom of every page, stops the work reel, the word band and the image wall in the footer; your choice is kept in your browser.
  • If you have turned on reduced motion in your system settings, the site respects it: animations stay still.
  • In the cookie banner, the X is the same as “Reject all”.
  • No accessibility overlays and no detection of assistive technologies.
