Website redesign · Rebuild and migration
Website redesign done right
You already have a website, but it is slow, hard to read on a phone, no longer brings enquiries or no longer represents the company. With a website redesign we start with the content and the rankings you have already built: new design, a new build that is fast and optimised for Google, correct redirects from every old page. Rebuilds and migrations from other platforms, fully remotely. From €1,600 excluding VAT.
Redesigns for galleries, news outlets, brokers and companies in Italy, Switzerland and the UK, done remotely and launched with no downtime.
Why KVA
New site, rankings preserved
A website ages fast: devices change, so do reading habits and the criteria Google uses to judge speed and user experience, and the company itself changes. That is what a website redesign is for: keep what works and rebuild everything else.
Our method starts with what you already have: content, indexed URLs, Google rankings, traffic. We analyse which pages bring visits and enquiries, which need rewriting and which should be merged, and design the new site around that data. Then we build it on our own WordPress theme: faster, lighter, easier to update. Every old page gets a redirect to the new one, titles and structured data are rebuilt and the rankings stay where they are. We have redesigned sites we had built ourselves years earlier and sites built by others: art galleries, a news portal with hundreds of thousands of readers a month, an international broker with a three-language site.
We work fully remotely: briefing by email and WhatsApp, access to the current site and its analytics, feedback rounds on the staging version, a go-live planned so that not a single visit is lost. If the site is on another platform or another host, we also handle the migration, the domain and the email accounts.
What we can include
The redesign, item by item
Every redesign quote contains these items, starting with those that protect your rankings. The range depends on the number of pages, the features to rebuild and the new content.
- 01Analysis of the current site: traffic, converting pages, speed, errors
- 02Content map: what to keep, what to rewrite, what to merge
- 03New architecture and new custom responsive design
- 04New build on our own WordPress theme, fast and lightweight
- 05Migration of content, images and, where needed, products and users
- 06Redirects from every old URL; titles, meta tags and structured data rebuilt
- 07Planned go-live, Search Console checks and error fixing
- 08Training on the new admin panel, hosting, updates and support
Method
How we work
- 01
Audit
A first conversation and access to the current site and its traffic data: we work out what works, what is missing and what it costs to maintain. Then a quote with the cost of each task.
- 02
Design
Content map, new structure and layout approved before development: you see the new site on paper, with the mapping between old and new pages.
- 03
Build and migration
New build on a staging environment, migration of copy, images and products, testing on real devices; online feedback rounds before the switch.
- 04
Go-live
Publication with the redirects already in place, Search Console checks over the following weeks, admin panel training; hosting and updates for a fixed yearly fee.

FAQ
Common questions
When it is worth it, what it costs and how long it takes, what happens to your Google rankings and to the old site: the questions people ask before a redesign.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Prices start at €1,600 excluding VAT for a site of a few pages. A complete redesign usually costs between €2,500 and €4,500 for a brochure website, between €4,500 and €9,000 for a multi-page or multilingual corporate website and between €5,000 and €15,000 for an online store. What matters is the number of pages, the features to rebuild, the content to rewrite and the integrations. The final quote follows within a few days of the analysis of your current site.
When is a website redesign worth it?
When the site is awkward to use on a smartphone, needs more than three seconds to load, brings in fewer and fewer enquiries, has a design that no longer reflects your company or an admin panel nobody can use any more. Or when the supplier or the platform has become a constraint. If structure and content are sound, a redesign is enough; if the site was built badly, a complete rebuild is better, and it still costs less than a brand-new site because the content already exists.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the redesign is done methodically. We map every old URL to the new one with 301 redirects, keep or improve titles, descriptions and heading structure, rebuild the structured data and check Search Console over the following weeks. In most cases rankings improve, because the new site is faster and clearer for Google.
How long does a redesign take?
Usually 2–4 weeks for a small or brochure website, 4–6 for a corporate website, 4–8 for an online store, from approval of the content map. The old site stays online until publication day: the go-live happens with the redirects already in place and with no downtime.
Can I change platform or hosting during the redesign?
Yes. We migrate sites from other platforms and page builders to WordPress on our own theme, and from other hosts to our own European server or to the one you prefer; we also handle the domain and email transfer, with no service interruption. The domain always stays registered in your name.
Can I keep my current copy and images?
Yes, and it is usually the starting point: we go through them together, point out what to update and what to merge and move them into the new site with the right formatting. If new copy is needed, you can write it with our keyword guidance or entrust it to us, quoted separately.
What happens after the new site goes live?
We stay on board. Online training on the new admin panel, hosting on our own European server with SSL, backups, updates and monitoring for a fixed yearly fee, ranking checks over the following weeks and, if you wish, SEO and content over time.
