Online stores
Custom WooCommerce stores
We build WooCommerce online stores on our own theme: catalogue and variants, card and PayPal payments, shipping, invoicing and ERP integration. Fast even with catalogues of hundreds of products. From €5,000 to €15,000 excluding VAT, live in 4–8 weeks.
Online stores for companies in Italy and the UK, built fully remotely, from test orders to admin panel training.
Why KVA
A store built to sell
An online store is not a website with a cart: it is a shop that must be found, win people over in seconds and make buying effortless, almost always on a phone. That is why e-commerce development begins with the catalogue and the buying journey: how products are organised, which filters are needed, how many steps the checkout has, what happens after the order.
We build on WooCommerce, the e-commerce platform for WordPress: no commission on sales, no platform fee, your data and customers stay yours. We have done this for Aloe Living, an aloe vera products store with a blog and SEO, and for Testorys, a UK online watch store with Google Shopping campaigns. For ProFinance Institute the store sells online and classroom courses in Italian and English; for some beauty salons, the store sells perfumes and products alongside their treatments.
We use our own theme, as on every site we build, so the store meets Google's speed metrics (Core Web Vitals), works well on a phone and is ready for SEO. We connect payments, couriers, invoicing and, where needed, ERP, warehouse and CRM. After launch we stay on board: hosting, WooCommerce updates, security and, if you wish, SEO and Google Shopping campaigns.

FAQ
Common questions
The questions we hear most often from people opening or rebuilding an online store: prices, platform, timing, management and running costs.
How much does it cost to build an online store?
A WooCommerce store usually costs between €5,000 and €15,000 excluding VAT. What matters most is the number of products and variants, the integrations with ERP, warehouse and couriers, the languages and the content to be produced. A store with a few dozen products and standard payments sits at the low end of the range; large catalogues, several languages and integrations at the high end.
Is WooCommerce better than a subscription e-commerce platform?
Subscription e-commerce platforms are fast to start, but they come with a monthly fee, transaction fees and limits on what can be customised. WooCommerce is free software on WordPress: you pay no percentage on sales, the store and its data remain yours and you have total freedom over design, features and integrations. For stores that want to grow and integrate with ERP and invoicing software it is the choice we recommend, and the one we have worked on since 2016.
How long does it take to open an online store?
Usually 4–8 weeks from receiving your product data, photos and copy, depending on ERP integrations and languages. We import your existing products ourselves, from CSV or from your management software, so the catalogue is complete at launch.
How much does it cost to run an online store each year?
Hosting, maintenance and WooCommerce updates are a fixed yearly fee set in the quote: European server, SSL, daily backups, monitoring and security updates. The fee also covers domain registration and renewal, in your name, and up to 5 email accounts. The payment provider's fees on each transaction and, if you choose them, SEO and campaigns are separate. No commission goes to us or to the platform.
Does the store handle invoices and VAT?
Yes. The store calculates VAT by country and customer type, collects the tax details it needs at checkout and issues invoices by connecting to your invoicing software or service. For stores based in Italy this includes electronic invoicing, with the customer's tax code and SDI code or PEC address; for EU-based stores selling to other EU countries, we set up the rates and the OSS scheme with your accountant.
Can I connect the store to my ERP or warehouse system?
Yes, if your software exposes an API, a feed or a periodic export: we synchronise products, stock, prices and orders, so you enter everything once. We check compatibility with your software at quote stage.
Can I also sell courses, services or digital products?
Yes. For ProFinance Institute and other training and trading businesses we built stores that sell online and classroom courses, video lessons and subscriptions, with a members' area to access content after purchase. For services you can sell bookings, packages and gift cards.
